Has anyone used US Inspect(home inspection company)? If so I'd really appreciate a feedback and the name of the inspector they used. We are looking for end of warranty inspection.

I've used them before only because the relocation company that the buyers are with paid for their inspection. I was not impressed. I'm sure you can request a certain person, but when you call their number, they just assign someone because it is such a large outfit. I have never used them again, so it may have changed.

Relocation company's are horrible to deal with and so are the inspectors they use. They usually do a half-a$$ job so be CAREFUL. Get someone with an enigeering background and of course is a licensed General Contractor and Home Inspector.

US Inspect is a franchise, and to be nice.....you can do much better than that
Inspectors even willing to do relocation inspections (for a relo company) are basically bottom of the barrel in our profession. I would recommend a member of ASHI (.org) as that is the only professional association worth anything in the profession. If they belong to ASHI, that leaves little to worry about simply because the membership requirements are far more stringent than the state requirements so subpar inspectors cannot get in.
Good luck!

I agree with sacredgrooves, go to the ASHI website and enter your zip to find an inspector in your area. When we sold our home in NH, the buyers used a certified ASHI home inspector, and let me tell you, to say he was thorough is an understatement! I would definitely use someone from their list here when we have our inspection done.

Home Inspector at American Society of Home Inspectors: American Society Of Home Inspectors, ASHI, ASHI Home Inspection, ASHI Inspector

Bill Delamar is who I always call. I have tried others and they don't compare to me.
