Self storage in Chapel Hill Durham area?
Would anyone recommend an economical and safe storage place for lots of stuff? We're planning to move to Chapel Hill. We would probably have to visit the unit ~once per week so we don't mind driving a bit for a better price.

Do you know where in Chapel Hill you'll be? There are a few scattered about, and we might be able to help you find the one that will be closest to where you'll be living.
The one jwroton mentioned is a good choice for the northwest part of Chapel Hill and north Carrboro. (And it's close to the dump, too, should you later decide you don't need all the crap you put into storage.  ) |

On the south side, there's one at the end of Smith-Level where it intersects with 15-501. Starpoint Storage. They had air conditioned units < $100/mth.

If I remember correctly, jwroton suggested Chapel Hill Self Storage on Eubanks Road (west of NC 86 just south of I-40).
