Default Need short-term rental

We are selling our house in MA and don't have enough time to find another home in NC before we will need to close on this one. Therefore, we are wanting to know if there are any short-term rentals, apartments would be fine, just to get us by until we find a home to buy. We are thinking of the Durham or Raleigh area.

Thanks.

Bexley at Heritage in Wake Forest does month-to-month leases. You pay a little more, but it's nice not to have to be tied in for a year.

Bexley at Briar Creek looks to be in the general area of where we want to be. However, I see nothing that indicates it's a month-to-month rental. Rather, it appears to be a yearly lease involved. We only want to stay a few months at the most.

Bexley I believe will do a 3 month and also a 6 month. I took a client over there recently that was told they could get a 3 month. Good Luck. Really nice location

I found a month-to-month house for rent in Durham on craigslist. The folks who own the house have several. They're company name is Crossman Properties, and if you google that, they'll come right up.

I think my complex in North Raleigh may do a 6 month, Northridge Crossings. Give the office a call at 919-875-0090. You might like it so much you decide to renew.

We also found a short term apt rental (5 months) on Craigslist. Seems many people move in and out of the areas around RTP frequently due to job relocations. We sublet directly through the tenant and didn't go through the apts rental office, although I'm pretty certain it was an "illegal sublet'. Nonetheless, it worked out perfectly and we stayed unitl we moved into our house. The apt complex was Vista at the Park in West Cary. Very close to Durham/ RTP and Apex. Very nice complex, 2 pools, 24 hr gym etc and I've heard they also do 3-6 month leases.
