Well another 4th of July has come and gone or
is that gone and come...I do get confused on that
very subject. Anyhow, time to reflect on this
past 4th of July memory as well as any other
Triangle 4th of July happening you will never, ever
forget. Was it the family, friends. weather, house
hunting and capturing, or the time off and the
picnic at one of our many local parks, or was it
the fireworks celebration commemorating this great
countries freedom?

Hope you had a 'Blast' of a 4th, pun intended and
can share your triangle 4th experience!

Ours was actually watching the display mother nature
put on. WOW! Lightning everywhere, sky to ground,
cloud to cloud and flash after flash! Played like the
scenes from Young Frankinstein! Wheww!

I enjoyed watching the storm come in, too. We had gone to the fairgrounds Friday night to watch the fireworks (postponed), but it was a blast watching everyone running to the cars!

The lines for the food vendors were irritating though. 30 to 40 deep for most. I gave up and was grumpy about not getting a funnel cake!

This was our first 4th in NC and we went to the fairgrounds in Raleigh. Although my son was disappointed that he missed the fireworks, we told him that Mother Nature's fireworks were just as good and he quickly changed his mind. What a show! I have never seen anything like that. It will definitely be a 4th we will always remember.
