Quick update- looks like the road upgrades are nearly complete- most of the cones went away today and the traffic lights are on yelow-flash. The only cones left are around the new island at the end of Church Street. (I really wish the idiots would quit cutting around the island and making illegal left-turns off of Church onto Hwy 54. It's really annoying.)

It looks like it's done as far as the roadwork... I didn't have that annoying "merge into one lane" issue that I've become accustomed to coming off of 540.

That's weird... Unless I'm mistaken, didn't they finish building the Wal-Mart before finishing (or even starting) the Sam's Club building?

Hadn't really been following this thread since we already had a Sam's Club on Harrison, so we just learned that it's closing when the Morrisville one opens. Very disappointed.

We were Costco people when we lived in California, but added a Sam's Club membership when we moved here because it was so much more convenient to get to. But now they're about equidistant (at least time-wise), so it's back to Costco for us.

IMHO - having memebership at BJs and Costco and Sam's Club for a while at the same time, I feel Costco is a lot better than both. There is a thread somewhere on this forum discussing the benefits between the three warehouse clubs...and the products, varieties and prices for Costco are so much better...Sorry to have gone off-topic there.
