Haven't seen it written anywhere, but does anyone know what's being built at the corner of Durant and Falls of Neuse? It looks like it could be another Walgreens, but no signs have gone up yet.

I believe it to be Walgreens with a twist. They sunk a huge OK really big tank underground in front of it so unless they will bottle there own brand of rubbing alcohol on site I would say it may also be a gas station as well. Sure looked like a petroleum tank they put in.

I suppose we will all know in about 4 weeks or so!

Could the tank be for stormwater retention, or perhaps part of a cooling system? Seems like a gas station would have several tanks.

It looks like a Walgreen's - it just looks like it will have a very small drive through pharmacy window. That's what confused me. Whatever it is, they are taking a long time to get it finished.

Good point did not know they were putting in tanks for storm water retention these days. They have it vented so not sure they would vent a storm water tank.......the intrigue builds!

Whoever owns the $1+M homes right behind it will have an easy walk to it, that's for sure.
