Default CANCER Rate in Raleigh Metro Area

Does anyone know if there is a higher cancer rate in the metro area like Holly Springs, Garner, Apex Cary etc....

Have there ever been articles that suggested or stated that the cancer rate is high in that area? The reason why I am asking is because I hear there is a Nuclear Radiation Plant near that area.

I am worried about 2 things buying housing in that area, nuclear leaks into the soil and a terrorist threat.

You are more at risk of getting cancer if you use any form of tobacco, practice "risky" behavior (especially if it involves blood and bodily fluids), or fry in the sun. mm3b is amazing - if s/he (not sure if male or female) sees this, you will get a wealth of information.
