My niece is getting married on Nov. 9, the church is on Blue Ridge Road . The ceremony is at 3:00 and reception is in Clayton at 6:00 which takes about 30 min. to travel to. There isn't much time in between. My question is where are some beautiful places not to far out of our travels to take wedding pictures? Inside and outside just in case the weather isn't nice. Thanks for your help.

Take Blue Ridge south until you cross Hillsborough. Make an immediate (and I mean immediate, it is right after Hillsborough) left on Beryl. The Arboretum will be on your right.

That would be closest. You could also go to Pullen Park on Western Blvd, which is very nice and always has a lot of wedding photographers.

Inside .... I'd think maybe the Museum of Art but I'm not sure of their photo policy.

The Meredith College outdoor ampitheater on Hillsborough street right off of Blue Ridge Road is very pretty with a small lake and beautiful natural backdrop. It's across Hillsborough from the arboretum if you guys decide you want to go scope locations ahead of time.
Pullen park would be nice too, right around the lake. There is a beautiful public greenway running through the back of the art museum on Blue Ridge and connects to Meredith College which would be good (and is literally right off Blue Ridge Road. There is also a Rose Garden behind NCSU not far from Blue Ridge where there are TONS of wedding pics taken, but obviously the roses won't be in bloom in November. Still, it's really beautiful there though.

Could she not do them somewhere in the church if it's raining out?

Hi. The Arboretum would be a great place to take pictures. I just went there this past weekend and got some beautiful shots. Does she have a photographer yet?
