Definitely a must-see! Just saw it today. Beware I got there 45 minutes before the show started and the line was at the end of the velvet ropes.

I saw the movie at Beaver Creek today. It was okay, but did not even come close to living up to the hype. I mean how many times can we see the same movie?

I bought the tickets last saturday. The movies for Saturday were already sold out and I had to get tix for the Sunday showing. Was worth the wait though! Perhaps its an age thing, but the kids are loving this movie.

Did anyone take kids around 11-13? The reviews online warn against it, but I want to hear from actual parents whose kids saw the film.

I'm kid-less so I wouldn't presume to offer advice.
I can tell you it was a great movie and I can also tell you, this is a PG13 movie which does do a great job of being graphic without showing the graphic. I suppose you have to decide how comfortable you are with the suggestion of "graphic" violence.

The Joker does a "magic trick". He stabs a wooden pencil tip down into a table, so it's standing upright. A goon approaches to subdue the Joker. He grabs the goon's head and slams it into the table. Ta DAH! He made the pencil disappear.

Now, you don't SEE the pencil stab the goon thrugh the eye, but it's clear what happens. You decide if you want your 11-13 YO watching that.

I raced out to see Dark Knight on Friday...so good! I can only imagine how incredible this would be on IMAX. I think kids that age would be fine watching this, but since I don't have children I'm not certain.
