It's friday and I'm two bottles into a six-pack of Big Boss Hell's Bell Belgian Blonde so I may have missed something!!
FWIW, I'm kind of doubtful the pub will open by August 25th as they state on their website. It looks like it still needs a bit of work. I'm looking forward to the day it does open though!

What interested me is the brewpub's web page. They say;
The Bridge is hoping to find three people to assume key responsibilities on August 1. They are the Manager, the Cook, and the Brewer. All three are profit sharing positions. The business plan has details.
Maybe I can freelance for a while. . . . SW engineer by day. . .brewer by night. This is a short 15 minute drive up Lake Wheeler Rd from my house and we pass it everytime we go downtown. I've wondered what the site would be.

Whomever gets the top condo there, with the tower, is going to have a sweet view. I love that you can see the bridge, train station, warehouse district and downtown from that location. The bridge is one of my favorite places to view downtown at night, has a great feel to it.
That said, is anyone going to be buying any units facing the other direction? You know... the ones with an amazing peek into Central Prison located on the other side of the tracks?

Oof. Didn't know that. I guess those units will be cheaper...might be an interesting show, for a fan of MSNBC's "Lockup."

I was actually inside the brewpub two weekends ago. The owner was working there and let me in when he saw me peeking around while I was out on a jog. They had just finished the bathroom tiles, and the brewing system is all set up. They still have a lot of finishing to do, but he was really hoping to be done by Aug. 25. I do have to agree that I think that is pretty optimistic.
I have heard that Bloomsbury is a two-phase project, with the pictured building being the first phase. I am not sure when they will begin phase two, but I am guessing they are not going to start until all units in phase one have been sold and they have interest in the future units as well.
