Could you please give me some information about the School district in The Triangle Area, specially in Raleigh. I was visiting the area 2 weeks ago and I am planning to move there as soon as posible. Can I afford $1,000.00 to rent 2br apt. But my fisrt concern is how is the public high school. What about sports my son is 15 and practice basketball almost every day. Any clue will be appreciated.

You can probably find something in your price range in Raleigh or Durham, but not Chapel Hill I don't think. I'd vote for Wake Co schools over Durham. Your son should be happy here if he loves Basketball. It is probably the #1 sport in the Triangle.

I have had 3 kids graduate from Sanderson High School in North Raleigh.

Some years the scores for the school are higher than others...depending on how much busing Wake County decides to do!

I currently have 1 daughter at Sanderson. She is in honors classes. Some of the same teachers that her brothers and sister had, are still at Sanderson. This tells me ALOT about the school...more than the scores tell me!

I would cancel your vote by voting Durham over Wake.
