We are looking for an electrician to do some repairs and additional work around the house. One of our fuses (we think) busted over the weekend and we need that replaced and we want to add an outlet for a fridge in the garage and do some fan installation and moving of a chandaliere.
a fuse...do you by chance have some outlets not working? specifically in the bathroom, kitchen, outside or garage? Just curious if maybe your ground fault protection tripped....If that is the case, there will be a reset on either an outlet or in the electric panel.
Yes, specific outlets in the house, outside the house and in the garage aren't working. We flipped the switch off/on and nothing. Resetting? What's involved in doing that?

You need to look at all your outlets in your garage and on the outside of your house. You should find atleast one that has a "trip" and "reset" button. Try pushing the reset button, this should make your non-working outlets work. If they don't then the GFI if probally bad.
Anyone know a good electrician in the Holly Springs/Cary/Apex area?
