Default Toddler Table and Chairs Needed

Hi All,

Can anyone advise where to find the small table and chairs that toddlers use (like in the daycares)? I don't want anything real cheap, preferably wood. Mostly want somewhere to sit for finger painting, colors, playdough, you know the drill. I'll search the web but any local areas? I'm clueless. (No, haven't searched babies r us yet). Input appreciated. Thank you.

Pottery Barn Kids at Southpoint might be a good place to start. There are a lot of places online that sell Kidkraft which is a decent, well priced brand.

Our set is Kidkraft Avalon, and we like it a lot. There are multiple places to buy it on the web. Target also carries it, though not at all locations. I think Learning Express in North Hills carries Kidkraft as well.

Default Rockwood Unfinished Furniture

In Durham try Rockwood Unfinished Furniture. They can finish it for you if you prefer not to do it yourself. The guys that own it are super friendly.

Great all, thanks. I've been interested in Kidskraft before and the last time I looked on their website, their selection seemed to have diminish from what I had remembered. I'll definately search online to see what's available. Perfect size I'm looking for though.

We had a great table from Ikea. Kids are older now but the table lasted through the years. It was very cute too!

Check Target in the kids decor/bedding section. I bought a cute wooden table there 8 years ago for my son and we still use it for him and my 2 year old daughter. It has held up through several moves and lots of play/eating.

I got the Carolina table and chairs from Pottery Barn Kids after searching the ends of the earth for a decent size table. I got the large table with four chairs. I'm thinking about about buying two more chairs to make more room for playmates. I'm not really a Pottery Barn type of person. I find it to be trendy and expensive. It just worked out they had what I was looking for. And I have been happy with the quality of it. We've had the set for two years. I also like that it looks like real furniture and doesn't make your home look like a childcare or preschool - LOL!
