The last one at the Hibernian Pub was a nice venue. Nice big porch. There is also Rudino's on High House in Cary - they've opened a nice porch as well. Cary is pretty central to those in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
Hmmm, maybe some of us that don't know anyone and that are new to the area should try to schedule a time to meet up and have a sort of get to know you session. See if any friendships form out of the lot of us. Just a thought, since we're all in the same boat!!
I don't live there YET, but we're coming down for visits, one being over Labor Day weekend. Please include me as being interested and I'll do my best to show up to meet some of you. It would be nice to make connections prior to getting there!
I am waiting for a new job offer so I might not be able to do anything after Sept 7th...but I know for a fact I can do August 31st -- and can there at least be a "smoking" area for those that do have the nasty habit -- not doing anything against those who don't, but I know there are some people who still do smoke.
