So we will be coming back down next week and will be visiting the triad area first and then back to Clayton for a second look from Thurs/Monday....

I was hoping that there may be some type of outdoor events/music at night or something along that line over the weekend of the 23rd or 24th.....(Fri or Sat night) or even on Sunday.....anywhere in the triangle area that would be family friendly....

We took the kids and did the lazer tag/go cart thing and did bowling last time.....but I'd really like to see the parks or other areas that would be interesting to get a feel for the other areas outside of Clayton that we would take advantage of once we make the move......

I know I've read postings about upcoming happenings and thought it would be a nice break for all of us to do some sightseeing other than house hunting and spend some family time outdoors......

Any info on upcoming events for that weekend or even a direction where I could look online to get some info would be great....

My husband and I cannot wait to get back down there.....I'm sure the kids are excited but not as thrilled as us...lol....

I thank you in advance as usual......

Suzanne

Also since we have the kids, 13,10,5 is this an area/place ok to bring the kids? Where can I get more info? directions/time/is there a website for Moore Square?

Yes, it is outdoors in downtown Raleigh at Moore Square. They have bands all day starting at 2pm. I have been to a few rock shows there and there are a lot of people drinking and stuff, but have never seen a problem. The Raleigh PD is all over the place there.

Like I said, it is a free show, this IMO, is the best rock show to come to downtown live.

Check out
