We are new to the area and the forum and looking for a house in Cary/Apex. I was wondering if someone could provide us feedback on a development Bella Casa in Apex and LLoyd builders who are one of the builders for that development. While driving through we also noticed several resales. Could not figure out why - its a relatively new development. Any feedback on the development such as quality of construction, builders, future of the development etc will be much appreciated.

Loyd and all of the other builders do a very nice job. The neighborhood is nicely laid out.
Bella Casa is not a fast selling neighborhood. At that price point in Apex there is a very nice alternative in Stratford at Abbington.
$600K plus is a very tough segment of the market, and Bella Casa's location is a touch removed compared to some other choices in West Cary that are 50% closer to RTP.
As far as the resales are concerned-I can only speculate, but maybe some owners are struggling to afford to stay in homes at that price point? Either that or they simply found somewhere else they would rather live-with the constant stream of new neighborhoods developing there are some people who hop around every couple of years. Not so easy these days though!

The development will expand across the street with a pool and a park in the next few years.

I live very close to Bella Casa, and I go int to the homes there from time to time. I think the homes are somewhat overpriced. These homes are in same price rage as comparable sized houses on Golf courses and lake front communities but fail to offer those amenities. This may be a reason why the homes on re-sale may not move very quickly.
