Default Cary/Raleigh advice.

Hello everyone!!!!

Family and I will be relocating to the cary/raleigh area in June/July 09. We are currently in pittsburgh and our main reasons for moving is to find better paying jobs, nicer weather, and better neighborhoods choices I guess you can say. However we have learned that Cary, apex, chapel hill stc are good neighborhoods. Cary seems to be closer to raleigh which is where were probally be working.

Anyway we have found a apartments in our price range which is 3b around $800. 1 Has anyone ever lived or hear anything about Hidden Oaks in cary it seems nice but there are a ton of appartments there I think more than 400 that seems to be alot. 2. How is east raleigh? or anypart of Raleigh we should stay clear of.3. My husband is a Computer Tech/programmer with experience and I am a medical assisant for those that relocated did yiu fing a job before was it easy or did you wait until you moved and was it easy? Sorry for such a long post...Hope someone can help.

Candace

I wuld strongly suggest you find a job before you make the move or come with a nice nest egg of at least 6 months. There are good job opportunities in this area, but this area is very popular with new people moving here everyday so the volume of competition can be high depending on your field. I would find the apartment after you find the job so you can optimize your commute.

Good Luck!

Thank you!! That would be ideal for us. Were just not familiar with employers being flexible with phone interviews etc.....
