What is the name of the contractor you used and have you been satisfied with the finished product?

Trying to decide if I really want a screened in porch
Our house does not have a screened in porch. And when we originally moved in I thought I really wanted/needed one. BUT the last 2 summers the bugs have not been bad at our place. I'm wondering if this is drought related?
So has any 5+ year residents noticed that the bugs were not bad the last 2 summers? Or was last summer about normal?
I really like walking out on the deck and looking at the moon.... so I'm worried a covered porch would hamper that. This summer I'm thinking of installing a shade sail on the back deck. This will give me the morning shade I don't get now, but yet I should be able to see the moon. Anyone have one of these???

I haven't lived here for five years and just six months at my current house. If the mosquitoes this past year were NOT as bad as usual, I'm definitely getting a screened porch! I got eaten alive every time I went outside!
Actually I'm going to call and get some estimates line up - I really want to be able to enjoy my backyard once the weather warms up permanently.

Our house has two very small screened porches, one upstairs and one downstairs. Although I wish the downstairs one was larger, they are ideal for now. We have a swing on the upstairs one, and it is primarily used for when my husband's friends are upstairs playing pool and want to smoke or just get some good airflow. The downstairs one has our grill and smoker, and is where the cat has his food and hangs out when he's not out hunting. I would like to have a place to put a real table and chairs, but for now we just open all the windows in the kitchen nook and it's almost as good.

We have a screened in porch that we've turned into an outdoor living room. We got some nice, comfy outdoor chairs and side tables so we can sit out there and read when it's nice. We have a ceiling fan and speakers that connect to our home entertainment system. It gets morning sun, so it's nice to be out there with the morning paper and it's not too hot in the evenings. Of course, it doesn't get any use during winter months, and during mid-summer we don't use it quite as much due to the heat and humidity. We get a few bugs (hard to seal them out entirely) but we keep a couple of citronella candles burning to help with that.
