Default Back from our 2nd trip to Clayton !!!

Well we just got home last night from our 2nd trip down to NC....

We ventured to the Winston-Salem area first to do some area searching and comparisons and then back to Clayton.

And have decided that Clayton is where we are going to move to.....I really do love the feel there and the people really are sooo nice and helpful....

We have 4 homes we are watching....actually would love to have any of them, but unfortunately we need to get our home on the market.......fun fun....

Soooo anyone out there with good luck..cross a finger or two that it sells fast....lol

I can't wait to get back down there to start the new phase in our family's life.......Hopefully the homes will still be avail.....

But anyways I just wanted to say thanks again to all those who have shared info over the past few months, whether good, bad, agreeing or not, it all has shed alot of insight and has helped us make this big decision...... and it truly is appreciated.......

Now start crossing your fingers.......

Suzanne

Thank you both.......

I do love the area already......The whole atmosphere and attitude is soooo refreshing....I really do look foward to the day I can finally drive down and not have to make the trip back up north...

I always get sad whenever its time to pack it up and head home....but leaving NC is definately each time getting harder.....as soon as we pulled in the driveway last night I said we're home....can we go back ......and my husbands sentiments were the same.....

I know its the right decision because he has a very stressful job in NYC and honestly people relax while they are away but he is a different person when we are there....I really think this will be such a great place for him to be and will allow us to save for our boys futures and spend family time the way its supposed to be spent.. Which is the most important thing for our family and the reason for this move....

Welcome to the area My wife and I just sold our home in Clayton...

...and bought another one about 5 miles away! (needed more room for a growing family)

We love this town! As long as the schools aren't redistricting like crazy and continue to have good test scores, we're not not going anywhere

Good luck on the sale of your house! I totally understand why you look forward to not having to go back up North again. We've been here for 4 months and still have no desire to go back. We look forward to our families visiting us down here. It truly is a much more relaxed lifestyle. Hope you love it as much as we do.

Let us know what your price range is on a home and I'm sure several people here can recommend some good neighborhoods to check out. If you have children, honestly, the vast majority of the schools in Clayton are really good!
