I got a BIG belly laugh out of this one. I made that very mistake this summer. Just wanted to know how to get back to I-40. The person at the gas station couldn't tell me. It turned out that my 6 year old son figure it out for me. Not sure what that says about the Cary folks or me for that matter.
Cary is 3 to 3.5 times more populous than Apex.
Both are fine, well-run towns.
And, if you cruise around the forum, you will find a lot of newer threads and posts about all areas of the Triangle.
What do you seek that is important in a place to live?
I am from Rockland County NY. We visited Cary three times and chose to build in Cary for some of the same reasons you chose Cary. Thank you and everyone else ,for your kind words.
We moved here from Rockland also and really like it here in Cary. Been 3 yrs already.
When people tell you garbage like this, remind them that you cannot generalize a population of 100K+ people with one word.
