FWIW, the Hess on Capital was $3.51 at 7am this morning when I went to work. At that hour there were about 10 cars backed up onto Capital to get in there.

Didn't everyone already fill up last Friday as part of their "Gustav preparations"? I did, and my gas needle has just barely moved off of full. Then again, I use little gas (the Gustav fill up will last me at least two more weeks). I guess I'm just lucky.

I can only speak for lately, but that one at holly springs rd and the one at ten ten and kildaire (I believe it is a kangaroo too) tend to have the same prices and have been consistently the cheapest among the stations I pass by. I'm off ten ten but just on the other side of US-1. But since there are some shopping centers over there near those two stations, when I need to tank up I tend to shop over that way instead of my usual stops on 55 so that I can tank up at one of those stations.

Default Gas 9.99 at Sheetz in Raleigh!

My husband took this pic and sent it to me a couple minutes ago. Someone was standing in front of the sign so I sort of blocked him out. This is the Sheetz on New Bern Ave in Raleigh.

My light was on, so-
$3.759 at the BP at 64 West and Laura Duncan Road in Apex. 10 gallon limit was suggested with a sign at the pump but not being enforced. I bought 10 gallons, which got me 3/4 tank. I usually get gas at the Kangaroo at Ten-Ten and Holly Springs, but I let the tank run down this week.

Will the NC attorney general (or anyone) be investigating this price gouging?

Here in Texas, where we're about to actually get hit by the storm that's been in the news incessantly, there's a station around the corner with gas at $3.49 (although I doubt it has any left).
