I'd say the entire city of Raleigh is within 30 minutes of Crabtree Valley Mall....at least in non-traffic-jam circumstances.

Do you need to be near it due to a job there? We could probably recommend both house neighborhoods and rental/apartments near there if that's the case. Heck, some are even within walking distance (which would be a huge convenience in November & December!).

Exactly, Hubby's job would be close to there. I should have asked What are the area's around Crabtree Valley Mall. Is Wake Forest near? or Fuquay Varina? Holly Springs? What are close neighborhoods? Thanks

ANYTHING you could imagine that you've read about in the metro Raleigh area is within 30 minutes of Crabtree. It would be a VERY centralized area. I remember you mentioning the company your husband would be working for in a PM to me in the past. And I can tell you we went to that business from Clayton and it was only like 35 minutes because of some traffic. The possibilities are endless.

Cary is probably 15 minutes
Holly Springs is about 25 minutes
Fuquay Varina 30 minutes
Clayton 25-30 minutes
Wake Forest 30 minutes
Apex is about 20 minutes
Garner 20-25 minutes

The possibilities are endless.

I would be interested in hearing about neighborhoods within walking distance of the mall. Either single homes or townhomes. Thanks!

The area is prone to flooding. Be sure to check flood map if you find something you like.

Saturn is right about that. Several neighborhoods in the immediate area around the mall are in the 100 year flood plain.
