I like Daniel's but it's not very nice outside there.

That's a great list! The restaurants cover a wide range of menus and price points. Some of them aren't to my taste, but I like that the list is thorough.

Thanks for the list! We still continue to try new places. Some good, some not so good. Last night, we went to Connolly's Irish Pub on High House in Cary. It was really pretty good. Really good sandwiches. Menu also includes such Irish staples as corned been and cabbage, Shepherd's pie, bread pudding etc. Lively bar, nice waitstaff.

Since this thread has been resurrected, I'll add my 2 cents. I wouldn't call those the "best" places to eat outside. I'd call them just about the "only" places to eat outside. Many of them are not particularly pleasant. Sunset Grille looks out into a tire shop, and to get there, you have to go through the smoke-filled bar area. Ciao is closed. Daniel's isn't very nice. Unfortunately, there just aren't many options around here for nice outdoor dining.

I think Lucky 32 has a really nice out door eating space (lots of tables).
