Did you go to Tougas Farm? I was just saying today that I wish Tougas Farm could ship some apples to NC for me.
Oddly no, as that place is literally 3 miles from where I live. We went to the Nashoba Valley Winery (didn't taste the wine, just bought some) and picked apples.

I think I'm going to miss this when I move.
I love Nashoba Valley Winery too. They often used to have special events and concerts etc. I do miss the apple orchards and farm stands.
You can pick up some mighty tasty apples at the State Farmers' Market.
I like Arkansas Black apples very much. Great for baking and applesauce.
We have different apples here than in the North.
You won't find Northern Spy, Winesap, Stayman apples, or other heritage apples.
Good Macs are really hard to find. They don't keep or travel all that well.
That's ok! I'm a much bigger fan of strawberries and peaches

I was just reminiscing. It's nice to talk with someone from back in MA once in a while. Especially one who lives close to where I used to live.
