Well it looks like you were wrong because the boys live off of Perry Creek road just outside of 540. It places them about 4.5 miles away from Wakefield. Doesn't look like they were bussed in at all!

7.29 miles to be exact.. from Wakefield HS to the corner of Perry Creek and Capital Blvd... but the busses travel much deeper along Perry Creek and to the subdivisions..

I'm confused as to your point. Perry Ck Road itself is no more than a mile and a half between Capital and Louisburg Rd. I bike all over each of those subs every week and if I can do that, those buses aren't exactly going waaaay out of the way to pick the kids up! LOL.

Their closer HS is Millbrook. I'm sure if you were to look at their node you would find that the FRL percentage was more "needed" at Wakefield than Millbrook.

In the future will they not go to Heritage High School? That area would be closer to the new Heritage school. We were told as Wakefield High School parents that over 1000 current Wakefield High School students will be redistricted to other school once Heritage High School opens up.

As long as Delaney remains in GM, yes they will probably go to Heritage and the Heritage kids will probably remain at Knightdale.

I'm just saying from the addresses provided by WRAL of 2 of the boys to the address provided by wral to the scene of the attack @ wakefield...it was only 4.5miles away. Not that that matters.

It happens at Enloe..."I don't think fights in high schools happen that much"...it happens at Wakefield "run for the granville county"

What is FRL percentage and what does that have to do with the violence at Wakefield?

I wonder... they may end up at Millbrook or Sanderson... it depends... or maybe still Wakefield... it really isn't far.. its just needed (and required) to mix up the diversity at WHS.

This whole thing will be interesting - let's see - three high schools..
Wakefield, WFR and Heritage High all in a 5 or so mile radius.... all needed to be populated - and all needing to be balanced for F&R.

Seriously, Wake County hasn't seen the likes of such high school reassignment in years.... and the rumor is siblings will NOT be grandfathered...
