Default A Christmas Carol

Just an fyi on one of Raleigh's christmas traditions. A Christmas Carol is our own Ira David Wood's(rachel evan's dad) adapation of Charles Dicken's book. It has received critical acclaim for the past 35 years. Tickets are pretty hard to come by. It is a family tradition for many Raleigh families. I highly recommend it. Check it out at theaterinthepark.com

saul_hudson is on a distinguished road
I second that. I have lived here my whole life (31 years now) and have seen this numerous times. Wood incorporates modern day themes into the story making it very funny for the whole family - for example, last year, he had "Margaret" from the Fred Anderson Toyota commercials make a cameo, and it was hilarious - she did her "Hi, I'm Margaret" in the middle of a few scenes, and it was played perfectly.
