Townhome rental recommendations- North Raleigh (Durham, Wake Forest: townhouse, look for a job, neighborhoods)

My husband and I are going to be moving to Raleigh sometime between now and the end of the year, and we're trying to get recommendations on townhouse communities (for rent). His job will be near where 540 and highway 70 meet, and he'd like a commute that averages 20-25 minutes or less.

We're looking for something with 3 bedrooms and at least 1.5 bathrooms. Must allow pets (cat and 34 pound dog). Close to a park would be great (or a good walking neighborhood), as would some sort of deck/porch/yard. Trying to stay under 900 dollars, though it's possible we could go very slightly higher.

We're also interested in single family homes for rent, if anybody knows of good neighborhoods for us to drive around looking for "for rent" signs. I'm not scared of Durham if the neighborhood is okay.

I haven't found a job yet, so I'd rather not go north into Wake Forest, just because it will limit the areas where I can look for a job.
