Default Recommendations on family dentist in Cary, NC?

Looks like my dental insurance is Cigna DMA and all the closest dentists in Cary (I live in Fuquay).

I am looking for a family dentist for my wife, myself, and 2 boys (under age 3). We need someone who is good with children and allows parents to go in the back with the kids as well. Also someone who does adults too so we can all go to the same place.

Any recommendations?

You may find closer dentists who will file through your insurance. If they are not under contract with your ins then they are not obligated to those rates and you will pay a little more. I'm with Accordia and no local dentist is contracted with them, so we pay 5-10% more for each line item.

There are BAD dentists in Cary, and there are GOOD dentists in Cary. Beavers (there's 2 -brothers) they are good, but left them for poor staff. Steger is good. Google your chosen dentist for reviews.

We use Todd Garcia in Cary (www.dentistincary.com) We have found him to be wonderful - great about explaining all the options and working with you to make a treatment decision! Online appointment scheduling, too.

Hi, I'm originally from New York and moved to Cary. The BEST dentist, by far, I have found are Mayes & Mayes. They are a husband & wife team who started their practice out of school. (UNC). They are kind & patient. They explain in full detail what you need, what it will cost, etc. An actual printed out patient plan is given to you. They are also top in their field. They have all the latest equipment. They are the only dentists in Cary to have the new drillless method for cavities (great for kids). They have a daughter, and they are very, very family orientated. If you have an emergency, they will see you immediately! This is how I discovered them. I was only in NC about 3 weeks and my tooth cracked off. They came in from home (the office was closed) and fixed my tooth! Can you believe that? Also, they are very gentle and caring people. Again, if you have an emergency, you don't leave a message with a service. You actually get to call their cell phone directly. They will bend over backwards to help you in any way they can. I have had Cigna and UnitedHealthcare insurance, and they accepted both. They will also let you pay as you go. Finanancial help is great! Good Luck!!!!

Default Anyone know Anything about Harmony Dental????

I am looking for a new dentist. Although, I would highly recommend Mayes & Mayes in Cary. they are the best. Unfortunately, I got very sick, and had to retire from work, so I could not pay them what I owed. So, they dropped me. I don't blame them at all. I owed them about $2,000, I will first call and pay them, and see if they will take me back. See my reply below to learn more about Mayes & Mayes in Cary.

Anyway, I'm thinking about trying Harmony Dental as they accepted both my and my husband's insurance.

Any info at at would be greatly appreciated?

Peace, Have a good day.
