Default Building "Up" not out in Cary
There was an interesting article on the front page of the N&O this past Sunday, the 11th. It was all about how Cary can't spread "out" much further, and now plans are in the works to build "up" instead. It would give the town a more urban look and accomodate the anticipated growth. Also discusses the proposed changes to Waverly Place, converting it to something similar to North Hills with mixed retail, entertainment and residences.
As with most things, there are pros and cons, those for and against the idea, and these are also addressed in the article. If you missed it, go the the web site: newsobserver.com.
