Hello All,We are planning to relocate from Denver,co where we have lived for 12 years and looking for a change. Our target area is Raleigh/chaple hill .Been researching this and love the info in this forum.I have a question our moving will depend largely on the area's Children's hospital as My 8 year old (long story short)is a heart patient had an open heart surgery when he was 5,he will need continued care of a Good Cardiologist with a good hospital affiliation as he needs to be monitered weekly and will need another surgery in the future.Apart from all this I will need a good immunologist and an infusion center for him(he gets an iv boost due to low immunity).I have googled and found some info but not enough.Any suggestions?ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!TIA

While I cannot give specific recommendations, we do have several high quality medical centers in the area with UNC and Duke.

If it were me, I would start with my current cardiologist and other specialists, and ask them to suggest someone. Even though it is a different part of the country, it is often a small world when it comes to medical specialties and reputations "travel", so they would likely be able to point you in the right direction.
