Thumbs down I Can't Stand Twenty Somethings in the Triangle.

Eeesh! Look at the temp Thursday night. In the twenties. That seems early. I can't stand twenty something temps. Gotta find the winter clothing.

At least it warms up to something reasonable during the day.

Ah heck its not bad. I see a lot of the yellow globes each day! Twenty something and cloudy, windy, snowy, and wind chill - now that's bad! Get behind some plate glass and let the sun shine in and its actually warm!

Use to listen to a radio Station in Pa called WARM and their motto was "Its only WARM for me". So on days its cool out here I just think of WARM the mighty Five Ninety and its WARM all over again!

Stay warm go cheek to cheek with some plate glass today!

Wait, don't you remember the thread from a couple of weeks ago where people were suggesting shorts were appropriate almost year round here? And a poor newcomer was led to believe outdoor swimming year round might be an option?! It's not the midwest or even NE but it gets COLD here and does require thick sweaters and coats, esp. in the morning!!

The difference is that the weather never stays in the 20's for very long in the Triangle. Expect a see-saw Winter season that mirrors our current stock market.

As a long time resident of the triangle, I suspect it will be a colder and snowier winter around here than it has been in the last 5 years or so. This year has been weird already weather wise. "The summer was actually not that hot, we had a really temperate fall so far, with plenty of rain." A wicked winter seems on tap to me.

Can't say you're wrong since we have been so blessed with balmy winters the last few years, but I thought we were about due for some hurricane action this year, too.

I love the twenties. We might have a fire every night this week! Gotta go split some more wood. I'll be the guy with the axe, wearing shorts.
