How do you find out about job fairs ahead of time...
I always see them on the news after the fact.

Coming from an unemployed person. . . . .

I am informed of them by the outplacement firm that my previous company hired to help with the layoff transition. The company is DBM. All of these are technical job fairs though. Not sure if that's what you're interested in though.

You can also try Monster.com. I believe that they also advertise job fairs, as well as the newspaper.
