Anyone out there who has moved from Indianapolis to Raleigh? If so, can you provide a specific comparision between neighborhoods? For example, ____ in Raleigh is similar to living on the NW side of Indy, or ______ is like Carmel, IN, etc....
Do you see what I am trying to do? Until I visit, I am trying to narrow things down as much as possible. Any help is appreciated!
Northside of Raleigh will remind you much of northside of Indy (Keystone, Carmel areas). The sprawl in the Raleigh area is much more noticeable, however. The geography is also quite a bit different. And with Raleigh being a much more historical town, central areas and downtown also have a much different feel.
Not sure what might be a good comparison to Indy's NW side... perhaps eastern or far parts of south Wake County where areas are still a little open but not totally developed yet.
