Hello Everyone,
I am new to this posting stuff so please bear with me. My husband & I are researching the Raleigh area. We are looking to start an upscale business in or around Raleigh. We live in Ohio and have a little information but would like some local input on the best areas to shop. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Cameron Village would probably be a good place to start looking...lots of upscale businesses, and a very good balance between national stores and locally-owned independent businesses. Very centrally-located in the heart of Raleigh, too. Just recently renovated, so that's a plus.
Seaboard Station is another possibility, although a bit smaller. A set of warehouses and train stations that have been just recently renovated with shops and restaurants, almost all locally-owned and mostly very upscale. Right in downtown too, so it is also centrally-located.
What type of business? If it's upscale retail, like a boutique of some sort, then look in to the North Hills area, just north of the I-440 beltline. The new North Hills mall has several upscale shops, and they are in the process of starting North Hills East, across the street, so you may be able to find something that suits your needs there.
Of course, there are several areas that would work for you, but that's the first one that comes to mind.
