Default Policy on DPS accepting private school kids for athletics?

Does anyone know if DPS will allow kids in schools that dont have a particular athletic program (football) to join public MS or HS team in district?
Links to published policy would be appreciated.

While I have not seen actual policy on this, my guess is it would be a liability issue for the school. The district (as I understand) only has liability insurance for students enrolled as students. But check with Larry McDonald, Director of Althletics for DPS.
