Default Durham PD Crime Mapper

For those of you interested in Durham, as I am, the Durham PD has a link contained on its web page that allows users to search areas of the city for specific crimes. You can query gun related crimes, burglary, etc., looking at police districts, police beats, intersections and so forth. There is so much banter about Durham's safety that it's nice to see a visual for neighborhoods of interest. The link is located at http://www.durhampolice.com/crimemapper.cfm.

Well all the crimes show up in every corner of Durham, though more concentrated in the downtown area. Does anyone know of a way to compare to Raleigh, Cary, etc? I couldn't find any crime stats on Cary's police dept page, not that I looked exhaustively.
