Arrow DURHAM.........What Comes To Mind?

When I think of some great things about Durham, these come to mind right off the top:
  • Duke Gardens - I would love to have a yard that looks like that. What a pleasant way to spend a day.
  • Duke University - I love the architecture. Pictures don't do it justice.
  • Southpoint - The best mall I have ever seen. I sometimes just sit on the bench and take in the day.
  • Woodcroft Parkway - What a pleasant walk or bike ride.
  • Northern Durham - Some of the most beautiful country land around.
I am not a city person and don't care much for downtowns, but Durham offers so much more. These were just a few.

You're missing some good restaurants if you don't like downtown: Anotherthyme, Rue Cler, Blue Corn Cafe, Magnolia Grill to name a few.

Thai Cafe, Tyler's Tap Room, Shiki Sushi, City Beverage, Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Q-Dogs at Bulls games, watching Bulls games from my office building, taking people on a driving tour of the Duke campus and watching their reaction when you take that turn off the rotary and they see Duke Chapel for the first time, dinner and a movie at Southpoint, the dog park off of Woodcroft, Orient Garden, Music Loft, Super Target, Doc Greens... I could go on.

The only 2 reasons that I go to Durham anymore. . . . since I moved to Garner:

1) World Beer Festival at the ballpark
2) Sam's Quick Shop

I guess I don't understand why you're baiting like this. You've done it before, too.

This is so true. Whenever we drove in and saw it, our mouths dropped.

The Eno! I love all the locations and the fact there are so many within a short drive in North Durham. I grew up in North Durham off of St. Mary's and think to this day it is one of the prettiest areas ever. North Durham/Hillsborough, Bahama, and Rougemont have pretty rolling hills and endless trees. Can't wait to move back out that way!

I really want to move out there too. If I stick around (and I think I am), that's definitely where I'm going...ok, unless I were to find something amazing around 9th street to rent (can't buy there)
