That is a fabulous idea!

I was feeling a little blue to see all the gorgeous leavves have fallen from the trees in Falls River. Today I saw some festive yet tasteful holiday decorations. What a lovely surprise

Wow, That story is amazing.

I am feeling the pinch but I am keeping charitable donations in my budget. I hope others do too. Well, those who can. In tough times people do what they must to get by. Some may need to put giving on hold but I hope we can all think of giving to others as a priority.

I have a healthy family and children that (excuse while I get my bullet proof vest) understand that STUFF isn't everything thing. They are asking for a very few very conservative things for Christmas. THeyy aren't askling for cell phones, computer games, movies in the car, etc. They also ask things like Can we give a toy to someone who doesn't have one if I don't get something today?

Yes, I am lucky and this is unique, but this community plays a role in exposing children to the importance and blessings of giving early on. It's part of who they are. Sure, there are more THINGS we want, But we couldn't be in a better place and we couldn't be more blessed with the wonderful Children God has given us and the wonderful community we all live.
Health, Happiness and a little something to help others. That's more than most have and all that I need.
Well, it was nice when I seemed to have friends, You'll probably all gang up on me about no cell phones, no computer games, no tv's in room or tv's in the car. But, give it some thought. My kids have survived and they seem quite happy.

Why in the world would you think that you would be flamed for that? *I'm* rather insulted that you think so little of this group of people, who are on the whole a lovely bunch!

Jenny_B, who is harumphing a bit.

Ha! And here I thought I'd made up that word all by myself . The definition fits perfectly though.
