This is my first season in this home and want to get a furnace check. Can anyone tell me what to expect for a service call for an annual check? Also, any recommendations in SW Durham area? Thanks

We're in northern Durham County, and went with ARS heat and air. But I'm pretty sure they also go to S.W. Durham. I think they were around $150. for the service call but that included replacement of an exhaust sensor valve (on our propane furnace) that was worn out and needed replacing. Probably cheaper for just a check.

To do a maintenance it should run you $85 to $95 dollars. I don't know anyone out in Durham so can't help you there...sorry.

When my air conditioning went out last summer I used ARS heating and air as well. I was pleased with the service I received.

We pay $125.00 for our annual service contract with Louis Heating and Air. That includes a spring(AC) and fall(heat) service including filters....money well spent too I believe they service Durham and Chapel Hill.
