Admit it, you work for Time Warner don't you?

I switched from TWC to DTV as soon as I moved out of my apartment and couldn't be happier. TWC is awful...crappy service and crappy product. I love my Direct TV.

I love my TWC analog service. Very dependable.

Might upgrade again if and when the DVR becomes reliable.

No, I do not work for TWC. I am glad you are happy with your satellite service.................for now. I hope you don't have to many rainy or stormy days. I dumped my satellite service because of that. I could not take the unreliability of DirecTV. I went back to cable and I am thrilled with my TWC HD service.

I have had no problems at all with the satellite and there have been plenty of rainy/stormy days. As far as HD, I get a ton more HD channels on Direct TV than I did with TW. Plus, the HD quality is 10X better with Direct TV.

I have had all three services, TWC (Service is not our strong point), DirectTV (Everything is Direct accept an answer to your service question) and now Dish Network (latest selection to save money). So far Dish network is the best for price, HD clarity, highest satellite in the sky so with my yard full of mature trees it worked out best. Did not have to cut any trees down.

I would do without TV before I went back to TWC.

11 years with Time Warner.
Roadrunner since it came to town.
Just went HD with DVR in October.
So far, so good.

I'm not unhappy, have never tried satellite, and have no urge to change.
FWIW...

Thumbs down Fyi

It seems that these people are having the same issues with DirecTV and Dish Network that some people are complaining about with TWC. In some cases, many more problems.

Consumer complaints about DirecTV

Consumer complaints about DISH Network
