After reading the article and seeing TWC talking about how they have been aware of this move for a while it seems like they would be moving a little faster than they are to get some newer quality channels. I saw one poster mention it was going to be a little more expensive to go with AT&T depending on the package, but the way I see it to get BETTER DVR service and more than a hand full of channels in HD (and the NFL NETWORK ) to me it would still be worth it to actually get what I pay for

I counted my awesome TWC HD channels and found a few more than a handful. I found 40 of them and more on the way. And they are good HD channels, not 78 channels of Venezuelan pie eating contest HD channels.

Can someone list the U-Verse channel lineup (especially HD) and prices in their area? Since it's not available here I can't see any of the packages.

I've been as much of a critic of TWC and its HD selection as anyone, but it has gotten vastly better recently. The only ones out there that I'd really like now are USA HD, CNBC HD and TWC HD; the recent additions of CNNHD, ESPNNews HD, ESPNU HD were big wins.

I pay $96 a including taxes a month for cable and internet and the same package with a slower speed (6MBPS vs 8MBPS) for ATT would be 117 plus taxes
Where abouts in 27513? I need to move!
