I am down to needing one. TWC HD. Once I have that, I have EVERYTHING that I like to watch in HD. I can do without the Polish Line Dancing Channel HD.

I'm also in 27513 and I can't get it.

I've had TWC HD for 4 years now and there are a couple of pie eating channels from them as well. My wife isn't interested in sitting with me to watch "Bikin Destinations" and I've seen the same Wall Street Warriors episode airing at least 15 times. The other thing is that they've JUST RECENTLY added a good number of those channels you're counting. At least we finally have them, but let's not give them more credit that what is due... it took long enough, it's not cheap, and they still are missing the NFL Network and a couple of other great ones.

How much savings are we talking here? I pay $55/month for regular cable (50? channels) on two TVs and 768k internet with TWC right now.

Not likely but I like your enthusiasm.
Competition is great news. Now we just need FIOS to come to the area and we'll have a full TWC bloodbath.

I never lose signal during any storm with TWC. I did all the time with satellite, even though a had a 100 signal.

What I am hearing is that U-verse is not that much cheaper but you get 40 more HD channels including NFL network for the same price. Nobody has posted an address where it is avaialble yet so I have not been able to check the actual packages. I wish someone would do this.

You said the quality blew away satellite, not that you were personally annoyed with rain fade. TWC HD video quality is not better. TWC DVR quality is not better. The TWC HD lineup is not better. These are issues that can affect you 100% of the time, not during the occasional storm.
Hopefully we see some pricing pressure from this new option and we all win.
