Add your name to the DPAC
The Durham News | DPAC plays the name game
For as little as $1,000 you can have your own seat!

I wonder whether they offer a lay-away plan....

Funny response, Vicki! And ridiculous proposition by the DAPC!! I was all for this venue when it was being built, but the ticket prices are consistently quite high for just about all the events.
I heard that the old Durham Bulls Park (the DAP) undergoing restorations will also let you buy a seat there. Wonder what price tag they'll come up with!

We just bought tickets for Rent -- $37 a piece, which I didn't think was too bad. If you buy the whole four-show Broadway series they're as little as $20/show for the cheap seats.
To me -- being able to drive seven minutes, park for free, and enjoy a world class restaurant like Revolution or Magnolia Grill or a terrific place like Rue Cler before a show rather than having to travel to NYC or the like for a night out ... why, you can almost taste the milk and honey.

As Bull City stated, you can get reasonably priced seats there. I've paid just under $100 a seat after surcharges but I also like to sit as close as possible and figure its and acceptable premium considering the venue and types of shows.

I was just there last week for the Chinese divine dance. I had 2 free tickets from N&O and we could not see half the screen from our seats.... who ever designed the layout of the seats didn't do such a good job.
P.S those tickets were 69 a piece!

I was there for Harry Connick Jr. and thought the place was perfect. Going again soon for Cirque. I think the type of show makes a big difference. The new Bobcat's arena in Charlotte is an awesome place to see an NBA game, on the other hand the acoustics were terrible for the U2 show I saw there. Was the screen the only/a vital part of the show? The DPAC doesn't strike me as a place that was built for a performance requiring a screen
