I am looking for a home organization similar to Storables or The Container Store. I have not been able to find a stand alone store that carries the sort of items these stores stock.

Anyone know of a similar store in the area?

There is one in Cary in Saltbox Village off Kildaire Farm Road, but I can't think of the name! It's a nice store similar to the container store that sells home organization stuff.

There used to be one at South Point Mall but it closed, the Saltbox one is the only one I am aware of now and it is called Space Savers

Yeah, but Space Savers is about 1/10th the size of The Container Store, and they don't really carry anything unique that you couldn't find anywhere else.

I agree with this. I went there once. I've been getting by with Target, Home Depot and Lowes for organization items.

I was going to recommend Hold Your Own also, but just be aware that it's not all that big. The OP mentioned the Container Store, which IIRC is much, much larger. Still, I really like Hold Your Own and have come home with several really neat finds. If you're over that way, it's definitely worth a look. Plus, the folks who work there are really nice. I think they also do custom closet systems - in case anyone is looking for that kind of thing.
