Baby items consignment stores
Anyone ever sold baby items, rockers, swings, cots, strollers etc... to a consignment store, and if so which one and did they feel they got a fair price for them?

I've sold everything on Craigslist and got a fair price for everything. I don't recommend consignment for selling, I hear you don't get as much. Now I love them for buying!

I only sold smaller items I couldn't sell on Craig's List or ebay. I tried Once Upon A Child, Children's Orchard, and Kid To Kid.
Here is another option:
Kids Exchange

The Kids Exchange is coming up really soon. I always go there to buy, but haven't sold anything there yet.

If Kids Exchange is coming up really soon, more than likely registration for sellers is probably closed.
I prefer selling small items at the large consignment sales as they sell better and faster. Many stores are very picky about what they accept IF (and that's a big if) they're accepting anymore items. As for Craigslist, most people aren't going to search for, much less drive across town to buy little things like one baby toy for three dollars here or some of the new in package excess pacifiers, bottles, burp cloths you received at your baby shower over there. These things sell very well at the big sales and the money adds up quickly. The large sales usually pay more (they keep 1/3 and you keep 2/3 of selling price).
kidseverywear.com is my preferred sale for.
Bigger stuff tends to be easier to sell on craigslist (no need to haul all the parts of a crib and assemble it at the sale location).

I am also a big fan of craigslist - and have sold baby bottles and miscellaneous stuff together with other items when people have come to look at the bigger items (I always list that I have lots of other stuff available when posting ads). Little did I know we'd find out we were pregnant once all the stuff was cleared out though!!

I may have to try out Craigslist then, it is mainly large things, travel cot, exersaucer. So might be the best option. Thanks for all your help!
Fingers crossed we don't find out another baby is on the way after we sell it all.
