Consignment Furniture
Looking for a couple gently used pieces of furniture. Are there any consignment stores that have furniture in the Raleigh area? I check Craig'slist everyday, but would love to find some stores as well.

Yes. My recent favorite is Consigning Design in Cary. Also there is a store from Court Rental furniture in Raleigh that re-sells furniture after it is rented. There is a really nice furniture store called Hunt and Gather in Raleigh too, more antiques and hard to find items.

There is a consignment shop in Wakefield Commons next to Kroger's and haircut store. They have nice stuff in there.

They are closing.. everything is marked down 25% and I think they plan to be gone in 30 days.
Nice place - I've stopped in several times but didn't buy anything.
They did seem to collect a lot of "70's" era furniture - while in superior shape, perhaps there isn't a huge demand for it...

Oh no say it isn't so! I know the owner works next door at the hair cut place. Bummer! Well please scratch my previous post! I have been corrected!

I am renewing this thread because it is almost September and now I need to know if any of these are still in business, if new ones have opened, and what you think of the ones you know of! Thanks!
