I'm craving delicious hot and sour soup in the triangle. Does it exist? I'm from Maryland and this place called Hunan Manor had the best and I'm always craving it. Are there any good chinese places where they make it well?

I like it not too hot, and not too sour....

Orient Garden gets my bid. It's on Hwy. 54 in Durham by the Kroger at the Fayetteville (Streets of Southpoint) intersection. They also have a location in Morrisville, but I haven't been to that one yet to see if it's as good.

I really enjoy the hot and sour soup at Orient Garden off of 54 in Durham. They are in the Kroger Shopping center near 54/Fayetteville Rd. I haven't found anyone better than them.

But I am always open to suggestions!

If you like hot & sour soup at Chinese restaurants, I highly recommend you try some Tom Yum soup at a Thai restaurant. (My favorite is Sawasdee.) It's even better.

I don't like hot and sour soup but hubby likes it. He says the best is PF Chang's or Neo China.

Hong Kong Chinese in Durham has GREAT hot and sour soup (and everything else), and my mother loves the hot and sour at Hunam (in Chapel Hill, I think) -- it's unique and sesame-ish.
