My husband and I are moving to Angier from Long Island at the end of next month. He has been doing tile and marble installation for 27 years, has acted as job supervisor, did outside sales in the industry, and for a few years, ran his own business. He is currently job hunting in the area and I was wondering if anyone had any leads of where someone in his field can inquire about a job. He has tried the usual places - craigslist, careerbuilders, and local job listing websites without much luck. Does this mean that there are no jobs in his field or is it that they just don't advertise their openings the way they do in NY? Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks!

David Allen Company is the largest tile contractor east of the Mississippi. They are located in Garner/Raleigh area. All commercial work.

Neuse Tile Co. in Youngsville (north of Raleigh about 20 + miles) is a large residential contractor.

Best Tile, Mosaic Tile, Byrd Tile, and Dal-Tile are all Raleigh distributors. Fairly large and successful operations.

Just a lew local leads to check out.
