Any Good place(s) for nature photography?
Could anybody suggest a couple of places for nature photography in and around Cary/Morrisville/Raleigh or for that matter anywhere else in NC?

depends on what you mean by "nature" ... Duke gardens and NC Botanical garden in chapel hill are great places to start.

Umstead State Park
Eno River (Durham)
Raleigh Greenways
American Tobacco Trail
It is harder to find good urban locations to shoot in the Triangle than nature.

I generally find all of my nature/wildlife photo ops outdoors.
Yates Mill Pond (Yates Mill Rd. off of Tryon Rd.) is the spot for you. It's scenic and historic, with a great nature trail and wildlife observation areas. I shoot there a lot.
