Asked when they were closing and the sales lady didn't know....
In Raleigh the Capital Store was open as of Saturday and Creedmoor Road was open as of last Friday. I will probably stop in to Creedmoor road this afternoon to see if they prices have dropped, although they seem to do that on Thursday but as the sales are ending this week, I think a bigger reduction is coming.

DVDs, CDs, and Games at 50% off have been the best bets. Creedmoor had more of these than Capital and Capital had more electronics and headphones.

Most of the electronics have not been bargains compared to sale prices other places, same for DVDs unless you are a collector and know what is normally in the $5 bin.

They are still open, and there good deals on certain things. You'll notice they will put yellow stickers on certain things that say at the bottom something like 'No further discounts will be given'. This isn't true, it's just a ploy to get you to buy right then. I've had my eye on certain things, and they've gone down each week. I did get a good deal on a Harmony One remote.

Just do the research, look at Amazon before you go to compare prices and read reviews. If you do see something, call someone or go back home and check comparables. I'll be back this weekend looking at something else I've had my eye on, just waiting until the last minute for best pricing possible.

Are these stores open as of today? I thought I might go by, but didn't wake to drive from Wake Forest if they were closed? Has anyone driven by in the last day or two?

Stopped into the one in Crossroads. Didn't have much left at all. That one said 9 more days as well.

There were a few new LCD's/Plasmas at Capital and some demos but the discounted prices may not be good.

You really need to evaluate the models online to see if the deals are good.

Be aware that mfr warranty will not cover physical damage or missing parts.
